Business Link London helps small businesses go green
13th December 2007
Small businesses can now find out what they need to do to comply with environmental legislation and identify where ‘green’ savings can be made thanks to a free and anonymous online tool from Business Link London.
The interactive tool provides support and advice that can help small businesses to understand the business benefits of being green, quickly and in confidence. By completing an anonymous questionnaire, businesses can find out how to use their existing resources more efficiently as well as receive advice on how to comply with changing environmental legislation. Once the questionnaire has been completed, it generates a report with environmental guidance that is specific to the users business and their green challenges.
Andrew Ghijben, Client Services Development Manager, Business Link London explains: “It’s easy to see how we can all be more green in our personal lives but making our businesses more green is often seen as a much bigger challenge. With this new tool, small business owners have a one-stop-shop for understanding the business benefits of being green by receiving practical advice on complying with environmental legislation and achieving cost-savings through green initiatives.”
The green assessment tool is free to use and can be found at: www.bllondon.co.uk/gogreen
